Ready for the world:

transforming societies through education

The International Education group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment has unveiled a new identity to better reflect what they can offer to schools and governments around the world.

The International Education group was formed in August 2022, which integrated Cambridge Assessment International Education, Cambridge University Press Education, and Cambridge Partnership for Education.

This strategic shift aims to provide schools and governments across the globe with a cohesive experience when collaborating with Cambridge. The group, renowned for its expertise in learning, assessment and education reform, is working with schools, governments and partners to increase the positive impact of education on individuals and societies.

The film, 'Ready for the world', showcases the work of the International Education group.

The Partnership works to transform entire education systems across the world, from curriculum development, assessment, virtual teacher training to addressing specific emergencies, they help identify problems and create solutions. They address cross-cutting themes in education, including girls’ education, rural-to-urban access, and climate change.

The changes are aimed at making it simpler for partners and schools to access the comprehensive support they can provide to help learners thrive in a changing world.

Rod Smith, Group Managing Director for International Education, said:

“At Cambridge we believe that education works best when curriculum, teaching and learning, resources and assessment are closely aligned. By joining up our expertise in all these areas, we are strengthening this approach.

“Schools can use our international education programmes, qualifications and resources to build an education that meets their needs and shapes learners’ knowledge, understanding and skills. The refreshed identity for the Partnership for Education also helps us to more clearly express our impact, expertise and collaborative approach to education reform.

“With our new name and look now reflecting our complete offer we hope our schools and partners will find it easier to see the different ways in which we can support them. Together, we shape education for a changing world.”
